During her educational career, Dr. Hamm has served as a teacher in grades 1-3, a co-principal at Saratoga CCSD 60C in Morris, and an assistant principal at Troy CCSD 30-C in Shorewood at a school that serves students in preschool through grade four. Her administrative experience includes grant writing and curriculum development for early childhood students.
Dr. Hamm holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and special education from Lewis University, a master’s degree in teaching and leadership from Saint Xavier University, and a doctorate in educational leadership with a focus on social justice and ethics. Additionally, Ds. Hamm holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in administration, and she is a National Board Certified Teacher specializing in early education.
