Amy Murillo serves Yorkville High School students as the Assistant Principal of Talent Development and Student Engagement. In her role, she leads professional development efforts among staff and works with the building leadership team to support student success.
Prior to her role in Yorkville CUSD 115, Ms. Murillo worked in the Oswego School District as a Spanish teacher and World Languages Department Chairperson.
Ms. Murillo earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of St. Francis and her bachelor’s degree in English education with a Spanish minor from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Ms. Murillo has four school-aged children and is currently working toward her doctorate degree in education at Lewis University.
