mcamp@y115.orgMichael Camp joined Yorkville CUSD 115 in the 2020-2021 school year. Michael began his career as a Spanish teacher at Kingsway Regional High School in Woolwich Township, New Jersey. After relocating to Chicago in 2011, Michael taught Spanish at Chicago Tech Academy High School, Rich Central High School in Olympia Fields, and Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Flossmoor. Michael has also been a Professional Development Coordinator, in addition to taking on other leadership roles in those schools. In 2018, Michael was named the Division Coordinator for Reading, World Language, and ELL for Bloom Township High School District 206 in Chicago Heights, where he oversaw the curriculum, instruction, and evaluation of those departments in both district schools.
Michael earned his bachelor's degree in Spanish and Secondary Education from Hofstra University, a master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Regis University, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Endorsement from North Park University.
