National School Lunch Program
During the last two years the federal government provided free school lunches to all families that wanted to participate or had the need for the service. Next school year, 2022/2023, Yorkville CUSD 115 will return to participating in the USDA National School Lunch Program (NSLP). The NSLP is a federally-assisted meal program that provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.
The NSLP uses specific Income Eligibility Guidelines to determine eligibility for free and reduced price meals or free milk for students. Parents/Guardians interested in completing an online application to receive meal benefits for their children, may do so starting August 1st.
The primary and preferred method to pay for meals is through the Family Portal online food service payment system, although cash payments are also accepted.
Breakfast/Lunch
Lunches are provided every school day at each school. Students in grades 6-12 may also select à la carte items, which are priced separately.
