Parent-Teacher Organization Council (PTOC)

  • The PTOC brings together the officers of the district’s eight Parent-Teacher Organizations to work collaboratively with the district to strengthen the partnership between home and school. Two-way communication is critical to maintaining positive relationships. The PTOC serves as a venue to enhance communication and support between the district and parents, and just as importantly, between the PTOs themselves.


    Monthly Meetings: September-May, 7-9 p.m., at the District Administrative Center

          Meeting Discussions:

    • Questions related to the function of PTOs (volunteer management, tax/insurance requirements)
    • Resource sharing
    • Multi-school or district-wide programs/fundraisers
    • District support of PTO initiatives (grant review, discount purchasing, promotion)
    • Feedback/input for district consideration
    • Sharing of district events, news, and information with school communities
