    Camp Acceleration:

The accelerated, tuition-based summer school program will focus on providing students with exposure to the next grade level’s curriculum as a means for the student to accelerate. Students in grades 1 – 7 will be introduced to curriculum, standards, and concepts with which students will engage the following academic year, and will offer students the opportunity to gain knowledge and comfort with the upcoming expectations for ELA and Math.

Students will experience an opportunity to explore different ways of engaging with unique math and English language arts projects, lessons, and activities in a technology-rich environment. Students will be grouped by ability and guided in learning paths that will emphasize creativity, collaboration, and inquiry design. As students progress through their lessons, opportunities for enriched conversations, challenging projects, and problem-solving will create a fun, enriching learning experience. This opportunity will be available for all students and the proposed program location is Yorkville Intermediate School.  2019 Camp Acceleration & Camp Imagination Registration Packet
