I am so excited to be working at Circle Center Grade School with the most amazing staff, students, and families! At CCGS we value our partnerships and connections between home and school. This year our theme is "Your Hopes and Dreams Will Take You Anywhere!" We have huge hopes and dreams for our students and know that the 2019-2020 school year will be the best one yet!
If you are new to Circle Center Grade School, you are not alone. This year is my first year as principal at CCGS, and it is also my first year in the Yorkville CUSD 115. Previously, I served as an instructional coach, gifted educator, first grade teacher, early childhood director/assistant principal, and principal in the Valley View, Troy, and Saratoga school districts. I am also a National Board Certified Educator in early childhood. This means I make a daily effort to make connections between home and school, and consistently reflect on my practices so I can grow professionally and have the greatest impact on students. My undergraduate degree, which I received from Lewis University, is in elementary education and special education. I also hold a master's degree in teaching and leadership from St. Xavier, and another master's degree in administration from Lewis University. I am currently working towards my Doctorate in Teaching ad Leadership at Lewis University.
Working at Circle Center Grade School provides me my connection with the little ones who I adore so much. I thrive on feedback and open communication and hope that CCGS families always feel welcome when you come into the school. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children each and every day!
