Michael Knoll has been on the Y115 School Board since May 2023, he is a resident of Yorkville, where he has lived for the past 18 years, raising his three children Clare, Daniel, and Audrey. 

Clare graduated from YHS last year and Daniel and Audrey attend schools in the Yorkville 115 School District.

Michael is married to Colleen, who is a Reading Specialist in the Oswego D308 School District. Together, they have created a strong family unit, supporting and nurturing their children as they grow and learn.

Michael is a Physical Education Teacher at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora. He has been teaching there for 30 years and has touched the lives of countless students over the years. Michael is dedicated to his work and is passionate about helping his students develop healthy habits and a love for physical activity.

Michael holds a Master's degree in Education from Chicago State University, which he obtained early in his career to further his knowledge and skills as an educator. He is known for his innovative approaches to teaching, which incorporate technology and new techniques in the field of physical education.

Outside of his professional life, Michael is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing and watching sports in his spare time. He is also an active member of his community, volunteering his time and resources to various local organizations and causes.

Overall, Michael Knoll is a devoted family man, an experienced educator, and an active member of his community. He has made a positive impact on the lives of many people, and his dedication and hard work are an inspiration to all who know him.
