Special Educational Services
The administration, faculty, and staff of Yorkville CUSD 115 are committed to supporting students with disabilities in an environment that is individualized, nurturing, challenging, and one in which access to the general education curriculum and facilities remain paramount to the K-12 programming. Through partnerships with parents and members of the community, District 115 strives to develop the whole child with the academic, social and emotional, and vocational skills needed to live as successful, contributing, and independent adults.
District 115 provides quality education services through school programming, intergovernmental agreements with neighboring districts/cooperatives, and private day school programs. Aside from District 115 special education staff members, consultation is provided by experts in the fields of emotional regulation, behavioral management, learning, and autism.
