Waldemar Alvarez "Waldy" has been a resident of Kendall County for over 25 years. He and his wife Abby have two children, Ellie (YHS ‘22) and Ben (YHS ‘24).  A recently retired career law enforcement official with over 25 years of civil service, Waldy has served in several progressively responsible roles within the federal government spanning multiple agencies. 

Specializing in investigations, security management, and developing high-performing teams, Waldy has coordinated law enforcement efforts, bringing together federal and local officials to create multi-layered security strategies.   

As a member of the Yorkville Community, Waldy has spent numerous years supporting a variety of Yorkville Foxes athletic teams and looks forward to bringing his expertise across the Yorkville 115 School District.
