Yorkville Community Unit School District 115’s Family and Community Engagement (F.A.C.E.) program plays an important role in extending an open line of communication between the community, families, and schools, while helping non-native English speaking parents and families with the proper connections needed to achieve success in school.

F.A.C.E builds positive relationships between Yorkville CUSD 115 and its community of parents and families by being a bridge of understanding regarding the health, safety, and education of their children to ensure their child's academic and social success is being met in school.

The F.A.C.E. Coordinator facilitates a productive, two-way dialogue around the issues and concerns that are important to Yorkville families, while facilitating community agency referrals (Resource Guide), encouraging parent and family involvement in the school, developing trust between parents and the educational community, and fostering higher academic achievement through collaboration with school personnel.
