Nominate a Y115 Student or Employee
The District 115 Board of Education members and administration are excited to share in the accomplishments of all its members: the students, staff members, volunteers, parents, alumni, business partners, and community members. However, in order for Board members and administrators to share in these successes, they need to be made aware of the wonderful things occurring throughout the district.
That is where you can help! If you know of an individual or group deserving of recognition, you are asked to complete the form below and submit it to the district.
All submissions will be reviewed and the most appropriate type of recognition will be determined. Some of those nominated will be invited to attend a Board of Education meeting to describe their accomplishments before the Board and public. Recognitions may also be announced/displayed in the school, and/or included in district communications such as the district’s electronic newsletters and/or social media sites.
The name of the nominator is not published, but will be shared with the nominee. The written nomination may be shared publically.

School of the Month: Heart of the Fox Presentations
Each month during the school year, a District 115 school is celebrated as the district's School of the Month. As part of the recognition, students are selected to spotlight their schools at a Board of Education meeting. The students’ Heart of the Fox presentations serve to recognize students’ efforts and successes and highlight the positive student-led initiatives and/or behaviors occurring throughout the district. The District 115 school community is encouraged to attend the Board meetings to see the Heart of the Fox student presentations. The presentation schedule is listed below.
