    2. Comic Book Crew - Do you like comics, superheroes and villains? Join us for lunch once a month to discuss the wonderful world of comics, comic based movies and shows and learn more about little known superheroes and villains. Field trip in may to see a Comic based movie and visit a comic book store.

    3. Cultural Awareness Club - Join students and staff as we discuss issues of diversity and prejudice and work to make YMS a more inclusive place. Help plan events or programs for YMS. Meetings take place about once a month during the school day.

    4. Library Committee - Are you good at organizing, want to help out, or just love being in the library? Consider volunteering your time on the library committee. You put books away, make deliveries, and work the book fair. Work just one lunch period a week.

    5. Literary Magazine - Calling all writers!! Join the Literary Magazine Club! We meet every three weeks on Wednesdays after school from 2:45-4:00 pm in the teachers’ lounge and library. The literary club writes pieces before the meetings and we edit and revise one another’s papers in the first 15-30 minutes of the meeting. Please try to have something new to share each meeting. At the end of the year, we will be publishing a magazine with our best pieces as well as the art to go with our stories.
