Yorkville CUSD has partnered with the Curriculum Leadership Institute to begin a K-12 curriculum development and alignment process. Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, we will begin aligning all our curriculum areas to ensure a guaranteed and viable curriculum across buildings and grade levels. Curriculum will be aligned to the new Common Core Learning Standards in the areas of Math and English/Language Arts/Writing over the next two to three years. Based upon a long-range plan, all of our curriculum will go through this process.
