Yorkville Staff, Students and Parents: Illinois law (Lawn Care Products Application and Notification Act) requires all school districts and day care centers to notify students and staff when lawn care chemicals are being used in or around school facilities.
Gain a better understanding and confidence in parenting children at a FREE workshop on May 9 at 5:30 p.m. at Yorkville High School. The workshop is for parents of students in early childhood through grade one.
District 115 is offering seven summer school programs in June and July of 2017. The purpose of summer school is to provide students with academic enrichment and remedial learning opportunities.
Parents who reside in District 115 and have homeschooled students who have been or may be identified with a disability are urged to attend.
Two sessions of Camp Imagination have been scheduled for June 2017. Registration is now open.
On April 8, the district's first State of the District address was held to inform the public about the academic and financial aspects of the district, as well as the future strategic plans for students.

The expansion of Yorkville High School received an Outstanding Project recognition by Learning By Design Magazine. YHS is featured on pgs. 84-85 in the Fall 2016 Awards of Excellence edition for its "21st-century learning environment."
